The Legacy Society for Handi-Dogs
Plan Your Giving to Support Handi-Dogs' future.
The Legacy Society for Handi-Dogs is a group of caring individuals committed to ensuring the long-term sustainability of Handi-Dogs, Inc.
You can help preserve the organization's future and become a member of The Legacy Society by arranging for a Planned Gift to be made to Handi-Dogs, Inc.
Planned Gifts come in many forms. Some of the most common are:
- Leaving a monetary donation or donation of property to Handi-Dogs, Inc. in your Will or Trust. This gift costs you nothing during your lifetime.
- Gifts of appreciated stocks, bonds, or mutual funds to Handi-Dogs, Inc. result in you not having to pay capital gain taxes. Plus you'll benefit from a charitable deduction on your income tax based on the fair market value of the securities on the date of transfer.
- Naming Handi-Dogs, Inc. as a beneficiary in your retirement plan or IRA, will eliminate your heirs from having to pay income tax on the plan's assets.
- There are even ways in which you can make a tax-deductible gift now and receive income for life.

A Message from Legacy Society for Handi-Dogs' members, Kathy Alexander and Paul Lindsey
“Handi-Dogs provides such a valuable and unique service to our community that we thought of them first as we designated beneficiaries in our will.Without hesitation,we support the work of this organization that does so much to improve the quality of life for so many.
We’ve had the opportunity to meet several of the Handi-Dogs’ students. Learning of theirpersonal stories and how their trained dogs have helped transform their lives is impressive. We believe it is vital to keep this work going for generations to come. We hope you will join us to ensure a bright future for Handi-Dogs, Inc. by also making a provision for a Planned Gift.”
